We got the idea for this flavor from one of our favorite beers; the Mango IPA from Barrelhouse Brewery in Paso Robles. We grow cascade hops in our garden and thought why not try making a hopped mango shrub...and viola, we did and it turned out great! This can go with every spirit we've ever tried it with and also makes a great shandy and marinade.
Shrub Shandy-Add 1 oz. to an IPA or lager
Shrub Tonic-2 oz. Gin, 1 oz. Shrub, 2 oz. tonic over ice
Blended Margarita-Blend 2 oz. tequila, 1 oz, shrub and ½ cup frozen mangos
